Budgeteer Pro exists to make household finances easier to check. We start with complete transactions and balances checked against your bank — so you and your household see the same picture.
Why I built it
I'm a practicing CPA, and for years I watched the same thing happen: households with real income and real discipline still couldn't answer basic questions about their own money. Not because they weren't trying — because their tools rounded away the truth. Balances that didn't reconcile, transfers double-counted as spending, an annual insurance bill read as a budget blowout.
So I built the tool the way an accountant would: every number traceable to a transaction, transfers matched and excluded from spending, recurring bills detected and tracked, lumpy annual costs smoothed into monthly reserves, and connected accounts checked against the bank so you know the books actually tie.
